Equal Beauty

There is a beauty and serenity that comes from a fresh blanket of snow.  Especially in the month of December. Snow creates equality in a landscape.

At any other time of the year, yards can feature brown and green uneven patches for some homes.

Others, however, are meticulously manicured. Perfectly cut (and edged)  Master gardeners have rose bushes that look like they belong on the pages of a magazine.

Most of us, however, have geraniums, begonias, petunias...etc.  that are cluttered with weeds, and desperately need to be pruned or clipped.

Snow changes all of that.   During this season, a blanket of snow turns all of our yards into similar-looking spaces.

So, even though there's not much that I really love about Winter, I do love the beautiful landscaping the season provides

The snow hides the unevenness and inequality; bringing a sameness to every yard.
